PREDATOR VS. PUNISHER (Announced)

Predator vs. Punisher is coming to Marvel Comics this November, and it looks like pure, unfiltered carnage in the best possible way.

Announced at Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, this four-issue miniseries finally pits two of pop culture’s most relentless killing machines against each other: Frank Castle, the Punisher, and the galaxy’s deadliest hunter, the Predator (Yautja).

The Setup

New York City turns into a bloody hunting ground. A Predator arrives seeking worthy prey and zeroes in on the one man who never stops: Frank Castle. As crime bosses start dropping and the streets run red, the body count skyrockets. Two legendary killers collide in a brutal showdown decades in the making.

The series throws in a murderer’s row of Marvel underworld heavyweights—Kingpin, Jigsaw, Silvermane, The Owl, and more—as the Predator’s presence ignites chaos across the city’s criminal ecosystem. Expect mob war, high-stakes ambushes, and the kind of visceral violence these characters demand.

Writer Frank Tieri (known for Alien vs. Captain America, Punisher Noir, and the wild Space: Punisher) is clearly having a blast. In his words: “This is the series that’ll answer the age-old question of who is pop culture’s greatest killing machine.” He notes he’s written the Punisher before but is tackling the Predator for the first time, and as a lifelong fan who was “front row glued to his seat” when Arnold yelled “Get to the Choppa!,” the matchup is personal. Tieri promises “a $%^& ton of blood and violence,” twists and turns, and even an unexpected shared past between the two combatants.

Art duties fall to Jesús Saíz (Eddie Brock: Carnage), whose detailed, kinetic style should deliver the grit, cloaking effects, plasma casters, and skull-emblazoned firepower perfectly.

Creative Team & Details

  • Writer: Frank Tieri
  • Artist: Jesús Saíz
  • Main Cover / Promo Art: Dustin Weaver
  • Variants: Alex Maleev, Leinil Francis Yu (homage cover inspired by the Punisher’s classic first appearance), Martín Cóccolo (foil), and more

Issue #1 hits comic shops on November 4, 2026, priced at $5.99. It appears to stand as its own story rather than a direct continuation of Benjamin Percy’s earlier Predator vs. trilogy (Wolverine, Black Panther, Spider-Man) and the larger Predator Kills the Marvel Universe event, giving it a self-contained, street-level intensity.

Why This One Hits Different

The Punisher is a one-man army forged in military discipline, trauma, and pure vengeance—no powers, just willpower, tactics, and an arsenal. The Predator is an advanced alien hunter who lives for the thrill of the chase, cloaked, technologically superior, and bound by a warrior code that demands worthy trophies. Putting them in the dense, vertical jungle of New York City with the Marvel crime world as collateral damage is a dream matchup.

Fans of hard-edged action, crossover spectacle, and over-the-top violence have every reason to be excited. Preorder through your local comic shop now—this is the kind of “if it bleeds, we can kill it” showdown that comics were made for.

Who walks away? Only one way to find out when the hunting season opens in November.
